"The Top 5 Reasons to Toughen Up or else" (Blog #73)

As the years pass by I see a lot of qualities in humans that I don't like.  The biggest issue on my list is the way we expect results immediatley without putting any real work in.  We all want the magic pill (that does NOT exist) and we wanted it yesterday.  It's like planting a garden and being pissed off that you didn't have 40 tomaotes in it the very next day, sounds crazy right?!  Unfortunatley, many of us forgot that great things only come to those who work their asses off and stay consistent.

 

Now when I say toughen up, that can mean a lot of things.  What I mean by that is to start challenging yourself on a daily basis.  Whether it be just going to the gym when you say you will, cooking a healthy meal like you planned or something as simple as waking up 15 minutes earlier to make yourself a good breakfast.  All these menail tasks actually create a toughness in you and creates more confidence and discipline.  

 

Whatever your goal that you invision, it all starts with a plan and a drive to exicute that plan no matter what.  The first sign of terbulance you don't call it quits, you put your head down and grind.  Controlling your mind is the key to success; the body follows the path that the mind sets forth.  Always remember that you are in total control of every situation, even if there's a speed-bump, you still have control of your next move.  

 

When weakness enters the mind it's all downhill from there.  It may take a while but if you let that little voice in your head tell you stop, go back, this is too hard, it's all over.  Ignore the voice and Grind!!  

 

Remember, that the world we live in now is an easy place to get too comfortable and to stop working hard (mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually).  Challenging yourself in all aspects of your life is what creates growth...

 

 

 

Now without further ado:  The Top 5 Reasons to Toughen Up

 

 

#1:  If you don't toughen up, you will make no further advances in life...

 

#2:  If you don't toughen up, you will live with a ton of regret for all the things "you should've done"...

 

#3:  If you don't toughen up, you will have bitterness in your heart towards others that are out there actually making things happen for themselves...

 

#4:  If you don't toughen up, you will never be the real you - The only thing the world will see is the front that you put up...

 

#5:  If you don't toughen up, you will allow fear to run every decision you make - And that's no way to live...
